American hip-hop duo Mobb Deep – comprised of Havoc and Prodigy, will be heading to Dubai to perform at the upcoming Sole DXB, a two-day event celebrating street culture, music and just generally cool things, on November 20 and 21 at the Dubai Design District. The iconic hip-hop group from New York will be performing their classics as well as their latest hits alongside the hottest hip-hop DJs.

What should you expect at this year’s event?

Showcase of the Latest Urban Footwear
The annual festival/trade fair provides an alternative platform for brands to launch their latest products. So you can look forward to limited edition sneakers, capsule collections and some exclusive collaborations from your favorite urban brands. There will also be the opportunity to peruse and purchase exclusive collaborative items with the likes of Puma, Filling Pieces, and New Era.

DJs and Live Hip-Hop Acts
Apart from the hip-hop duo, international and regional live acts will spin their magic over the two days. This includes a veritable list of performing artists and DJs from across the region including Alo Wala, Iamnobodi, The Recipe, Tom Crane, Dave Lubin, Mega Don, Shadi Megallaa, Shef Codes, James Locksmith, Kev Fresh, Essarai, Frezidante, DJ Mocity, Aeli, Akuaries and JC Pinto.

Basketball Tournament
While sneakers will be a key element at the event, basketball will also be happening. The open winner-takes-all tournament will be made up of 12 teams from the region.
