Released in Japan this week, the updates to the Land Cruiser 200 includes a reshaped hood, a new three-bar grille, LED headlights, as well as a restyled tailgate. The interior has also been updated with new switchgear, instruments, and 4.2-inch color TFT LCD screen. Under the hood, the four wheel drive SUV harbors a 4.6-liter V8 engine, with new safety technologies such as pre-collision detection, pedestrian detection, radar-enabled cruise control, lane departure, and automatic high-beam systems. The 2016 Land Cruiser 200 will be available outside Japan in the coming year, and individual equipment levels will vary from one market to another.
