The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2015

The best of the best culinary talents on the planet have been announced for this year’s list of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. The selection is based on the votes submitted by The Diners Club® World’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy, a group of over 1,000 highly influential individuals in the worldwide culinary scene, such as, chefs, restaurateurs, food critics, writers and highly regarded gastronomes. With more than seven restaurants included in the top 50, along with the number 1 spot awarded to the renowned El Celler de Can Roca, which also took the top spot in 2013, Spain has been crowned the king of the world’s best new gastronomic destination. Other notable culinary regions featured includes France, with five entries, as well as the United States, with six restaurants on the list in addition to one new entry.
